Mi-171 Full Training Device
Mi-171 FTD enables training for piloting and navigational mission in the entire operational envelope and in a real-world Mi-171 cockpit equipped with standard helicopter controls.
The complex provides the ground effect and simulates practically every type of objects and visual effects such as landscapes, vegetation, season, lightning, clouds, fog, dust or snow vortexes. The sim enables training of emergencies, failures, pilot errors and poor weather conditions.
The FTD is to be certified for compliance with the JAR standards by autumn 2010.
External Load Operation Station
Main task:
Crew training in coherence with the external load during the flight, including helicopter external load operator training when using the helibucket device and cargo shipping.
Compound:
- Software of simulation dynamics of the external load;
- Specialized software of simulation dynamics of the external load;
- Mockup model of cargo compartment;
- dual system of stereoscopic imaging;
- VR helmet with head position detection system.
Unmanned aircraft simulators
Simulator/UAV pilot’s seat
Main tasks executed by UAV simulator "Wolf-01":
- Automatic takeoff;
- installation of the route for a flight in automatic mode;
- changes of the route during the flight
- landing in manual and semi-automatic mode;
- remote piloting, testing of action in the face of emergency situations and operator’s error (Pilot’s) UAV;
- management of the target load.
